Ep. 29: Postcard from London: an international childhood, romance, and motherhood with my college friend Piya Kochhar
And now for something completely different …
I’ve wanted to start this “Postcard from Afar” series for a while and thanks to my funny and charming friend Piya Kochhar, can finally kick it off with this lovely chat. Piya and I met more than twenty (!) years ago when we attended Vassar College together, and although we see each other only about every five years now, she remains one of the few people I have these types of conversations with. She has a writer’s way of observing and understanding the world, can turn anything into a love story, and is an all-around delight! I’m hoping she can come back regularly with dispatches from her life as a writer and Mum of two in London - what do you think?
